What began 25 years ago as an effort to help the hospitality industry track guest calls has expanded and evolved into what XETA is today - a leader in integrated voice and data communications systems.

A Solid Past
XETA Technologies was founded in 1981 with a single call accounting product designed for the lodging industry. This proprietary product gave hotels the ability to individually track and rate guest phone calls by interfacing with the hotel's PBX. In 1987, XETA became a public company (NASDAQ: XETA).

In 1999, XETA expanded its business into the commercial market with the acquisition of St. Louis-based U.S. Technologies Systems, Inc. (USTI). Three smaller acquisitions were completed in 2000 to expand the company's geographic and technical capabilities. In 2004, XETA acquired Bluejack Systems LLC, a privately held Seattle-based supplier of converged communications systems.
